Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir

Also known as the Central Park Reservoir, the artificial lake inside Central Park used to hold New York City's water supply, but it was decommissioned in 1993. A jogging track, popular to joggers and tourists, circles the 43-hectare lake.

The reservoir was built between 1858 and 1862.
